Back in two business days.

A First Read is a free written diagnostic of one company: what makes it different according to its own customers, and where its own published promises contradict each other. Your customers’ actual language is read and set against your company’s words, and the gaps are the finding.

What makes you different, counted from public reviews.

Where your own published promises contradict each other, in your own words.

Every finding routed to the department that can fix it.

A plain list of what this read could not see.

Five questions

What is a customer intelligence diagnostic?

A customer intelligence diagnostic is a count of what a company’s customers say in public, set against what that company says about itself, in order to locate where the two no longer agree. It is diagnostic rather than strategic: the output is findings and their evidence, not a recommended campaign. The version offered here is called a First Read and it is free.

What is a First Read?

A First Read is a written diagnostic of one company, delivered free. It counts what makes that company different according to its own customers, finds where its published promises contradict each other, and routes each finding to the department that can fix it. It also lists plainly what the read could not see.

What do I get, and what does it cost?

It costs nothing, with no card and no call first, and it comes back in two business days. You get a written First Read covering what makes you different counted from public reviews, where your own published promises contradict each other in your own words, every finding routed to the department that can fix it, and a plain list of what this read could not see.

What do you need from me?

Your name, your work email, your company and your website URL. Nothing else is required to start, because everything the read needs is already public. If something useful is not public, it will appear in the list of what the read could not see.

Is it private?

Yes. The read is delivered privately and in writing, to you. Nothing is published and no case study is written unless you give explicit permission first.
