Short version: we collect what you send us, and we use it to run your First Read.

What we collect
Only what you type into the form: your name, work email, company, and company URL. We do not buy lists and we do not enrich your record with third-party data.
Why we collect it
To run the First Read you asked for and to reply to you about it. That is the whole purpose. We will not add you to a newsletter you did not ask for.
What a First Read reads
Publicly available customer language, such as reviews, comments, and your own published site copy. If an engagement later includes your internal data, that is covered by a separate written agreement and held on a private server.
Publishing your results
Your read is private. We will not name you, quote you, or publish your findings without your written permission. Examples on this site are anonymized or published with permission.
Who else sees it
Our form submissions are handled by our hosting provider, and email is handled by our email provider. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
How long we keep it
As long as we are in conversation, and for a reasonable period after in case you come back. Ask us to delete it and we will, within thirty days.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
